GC4J4HE Oldest Cache in Five Different Countries Challenge

Another challenge to wet peoples appetites. This is straight forward, because the geocaches are listed for us, and all we have to do, is find five of them, and ergo, we have to visit five different countries to nab them.

The Cache Owner (CO) has made life easy for us, because we in the United Kingdom, have Wales, Scotland, Eire, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, and of course England, to visit. I’ve already geocached in five of them, but I’ve only found one qualifying goecache. So off we go, and have loads more fun.

Republic of Ireland – GC43 – Europe’s first Found 14th Nov 2012

England – GC171 – View from Coombe Hill

Scotland – GCF0 – Scotland’s First

Wales – GC2BA – The First in Wales

Northern Ireland – GC38D7 – pussycat

Isle Of Man – GC5A4C – Manx

Jersey – GCB662 – Jersey Number One

Guernsey – GC3209 – View. 1

Alpha – Numeric Challenges

The object of this challenge, is to find 36 caches, where the title of the caches begin with one of the ten numbers 0 to 9, and one of the letters in the alphabet A to Z.

Caches that require this qualification are:

Near Preston is: GC3V2FG  Chorley Challenge #4 – Alphabet & Number Soup (Bagged this one).

Near Yeovil is: GC3A8NY 0 to Z Alphanumeric Challenge 2012

I’ll add to the list as I find more, or if anyone passes me any from other area.

My Alpha Numeric Matrix is thus:

GC2MVB9 – Westies No 9 Challenge

The rules for qualifying for this geocache are that you need to have 9 different geocaching days, on one day you only found one cache, on day 2 you only found 2 caches, and so up to day 9. They can be done in any order, no need to be sequential, but no mix of cache types on any one day.

Bagged this on 18 Sep 2013. Gorgeous views of the Vale of Clwyd on the drive to the cache.
